Industrial adhesive tapes are high-performance products for commercial use.
Adhesive tape requirements such as heat resistance up to 300°C, flame retardancy, UV and ageing resistance, and the ability to remove the adhesive tape without leaving any residue are just some of the complex criteria that industrial adhesive tapes must meet.
In the automotive industry, for example, adhesive tapes are used for bonding car bodies or for masking before painting, cathodic dip coating or powder coating. In the electronics industry, adhesive tapes are used in the printed circuit board sector for assembling, fixing and protecting components or for insulating with non-conductive electrical adhesive tape. PE foam adhesive tape is often used in furniture and appliance manufacturing - refrigerators and freezers can be visually enhanced with foam adhesive tapes with decorative profiles and decorative aluminium cladding.
