We would like to introduce tesa® 4416 - Anti-Slip Floor Protection Film today:

tesa® 4416 is a robust PP floor protection film with anti-slip properties. The film can be removed without leaving any residue.

tesa® 4416 is used indoors to protect floors and other surfaces from damage, dirt, and abrasion.

The embossed backing provides good grip and reduces the risk of slipping.

When adhesive tapes reach their performance limits, tape converting at Max Steier begins.

As bonding applications become more complex, so do the requirements for adhesive technology. With our extensive machinery and the many years of expertise of our team, we are able to develop highly sophisticated bonding solutions tailored to your needs.

We convert adhesive tapes into the specific shapes you require and equip the self-adhesive die-cut parts with individual additional features, such as finger lifts.

From currently over 250 self-adhesive material grades, we can manufacture a wide range of customized die-cut parts with properties such as: single- or double-sided adhesive, permanent or residue-free removable, weather-resistant, UV-stable, heat-resistant (Kapton), transparent or colored.

In addition to adhesive tape converting, we are also able at our production site in Schleswig-Holstein (Germany) to coat films, fabrics, and various other materials with adhesive.

Through adhesive lamination, we can produce even exceptional and highly specialized self-adhesive die-cut parts for you. Different material combinations, multilayer constructions, and partial laminations are possible.

Our Trainees Show Us How to Save

As part of their training to become Energy Scouts at the Chamber of Industry Kiel, our trainees initiated a project focused on optimizing shipping processes.

The goal was to save resources, reduce CO2 emissions, and cut costs.

Our new Energy Scouts achieved the following results:

• Optimized packaging for shipments saves space, materials, transport volume, and costs.
• Selecting regional suppliers can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 96% through shorter transport routes.
• Using climate-neutral envelopes is more sustainable and, surprisingly, 58% cheaper.

Conclusion: Even small changes in everyday operations can have a significant impact on the environment, operating costs, and company awareness.

We are already looking forward to the next sustainable projects from our trainees.

The Construction Contract for Our Sustainable New Building Has Been Signed

The Next Milestone Has Been Reached. On February 13, 2025, our Managing Director, Mr. Karl-Christian Dormann, signed the construction contract for our new building.

The Dormann family, together with our plant manager, Mr. Peter Klein-Boß, and representatives from Bartram Bau-System, came together for this forward-looking step. The climate-friendly new building will consolidate the previously separate Elmshorn and Kölln-Reisiek sites and create additional production capacity.

The new production facility will be built to the Efficiency Building Standard Level 40, requiring only 40% of the primary energy compared to a reference building. Heat pump technology and a photovoltaic system complete the sustainable concept.

We will provide regular updates on the progress of the construction activities.
