The extra power
In more complex processes, such as special shaping and/or feeding of individual pieces, self-adhesive tape can reach its processing limits. In such cases, die-cut parts made from ACXplus materials can be an ideal solution.
In order to adapt the die-cut blanks to your specific requirements, we supply the blanks either as single or multi-lane rolls, sheets, or individual pieces for both manual and fully automatic processing.

ACXplus
This product range of high-performance adhesive tapes for heavy-duty structural bonding offers a variety of die-cutting options that allow you to further improve the properties of the adhesive tape. The tesa® ACXplusseries focuses in particular on material-specific properties and individual adaptation to the components to be bonded.
The resulting die-cut parts are used in parking sensors, antennas, B-pillar trim, emblems, side and door sill moldings, trunk and roof trim, and aerodynamic aids, among other things.
Special features of tesa® ACXplus acrylic foam adhesive tapes
When it comes to structural bonding, long-term adhesion often plays a crucial role and poses a major challenge. Modern materials that need to be bonded usually have special structures and properties that must be preserved during the processing. This special adhesive tape offers an innovative solution.
Thanks to the acrylate system used by tesa®, the material has the following key properties:
Durability
- ACXplus makes the bonds highly resistant to UV, moisture, and weathering.
- In addition, the acrylates used result in very good oxidation resistance.
- Due to special curing chemistry, the adhesive tape also has excellent temperature resistance.
High adhesive strength
- The adhesive tape has strong and long-lasting adhesive strength on a wide variety of surface properties.
- It also has optimal wetting and adaptability to the surface to be bonded.
- The thickness of the adhesive tape allows unevenness on the surface to be compensated for.
Stress equalisation
- tesa® adhesive tape has the ability to equalise static, dynamic and temperature stresses over long periods.
- It can also adapt to different coefficients of expansion during temperature changes.
tesa® ACXplus Black Line
The tesa® ACXplus Black Line comprises deep black acrylic foam adhesive tapes for bonding exterior components in automotive and industrial applications.
The acrylic foam core ensures exceptional cold impact resistance and can therefore be bonded even at extremely low temperatures. In addition, the adhesive tapes absorb static and dynamic shear loads excellently thanks to their viscoelastic properties. Furthermore, extreme physical loads can still be compensated for even at low temperatures due to different expansion coefficients.

tesa® ACXplus Primerless Line
The adhesive tapes of the tesa® ACXplus Primerless Line are double-sided acrylic foam tapes designed for bonding exterior add-on parts in automotive and industrial applications.
The LSE (LSE = low surface energy) high-performance adhesive enables fast and reliable bonding of add-on parts made from low surface energy materials such as PP, PP/EPDM, or ABS without the use of a primer. In addition, the tape offers excellent bonding performance on a wide range of OEM clear coats. The acrylic foam core also allows the absorption and dissipation of dynamic and static loads.
