26.03.2026 - Information regarding the price adjustment for our stock items as of 1 April 2026

After more than 1.5 years of price stability, we have had
to adjust our prices slightly with effect from April 1st., 2026.

The reasons for this are complex, but the main factors are:

  • increased wage and personnel costs
  • significant increases in raw material prices and
  • ongoing price increases for service providers + transport.

08.07.2025 - Our New Energy Scouts

   SUSTAINABILITY NEWS

Our Trainees Show Us How to Save

As part of their training to become Energy Scouts at the Chamber of Industry Kiel, our trainees initiated a project focused on optimizing shipping processes.

The goal was to save resources, reduce CO2 emissions, and cut costs.

Our new Energy Scouts achieved the following results:

  • Optimized packaging for shipments saves space, materials, transport volume, and costs.
  • Selecting regional suppliers can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 96% through shorter transport routes.
  • Using climate-neutral envelopes is more sustainable and, surprisingly, 58% cheaper.

Conclusion: Even small changes in everyday operations can have a significant impact on the environment, operating costs, and company awareness.

We are already looking forward to the next sustainable projects from our trainees.

13.02.2025 - Building Sustainably

   SUSTAINABILITY NEWS

The Construction Contract for Our Sustainable New Building Has Been Signed

The Next Milestone Has Been Reached. On February 13, 2025, our Managing Director, Mr. Karl-Christian Dormann, signed the construction contract for our new building.

The Dormann family, together with our plant manager, Mr. Peter Klein-Boß, and representatives from Bartram Bau-System, came together for this forward-looking step. The climate-friendly new building will consolidate the previously separate Elmshorn and Kölln-Reisiek sites and create additional production capacity.

The new production facility will be built to the Efficiency Building Standard Level 40, requiring only 40% of the primary energy compared to a reference building. Heat pump technology and a photovoltaic system complete the sustainable concept.

We will provide regular updates on the progress of the construction activities.
